Mental wellness within reach

Closing the distance between need and care.

We help communities understand mental and behavioral health, overcome practical barriers, and connect with appropriate services—especially where access has too often been limited.

Our mission

Knowledge, access, and trusted connection.

Brown & Williams Community Wellness Foundation advances mental wellness through culturally responsive education, tele-mental-health awareness, benefits and technology navigation, community partnerships, and referral support. Our goal is to help people take informed action before challenges become crises.

What we do

Community-centered pathways to support

Programs are designed to meet people in familiar settings and make the route to appropriate care easier to understand and complete.

1

Mental-health education

Plain-language workshops, community conversations, and public-information campaigns that reduce stigma and improve understanding of common mental-health concerns.

2

Telehealth access support

Help with basic technology, privacy preparation, appointment readiness, and understanding how virtual mental-health services work.

3

Benefits and service navigation

General information that helps community members ask better questions about insurance, public benefits, sliding-scale options, and available providers.

4

Warm referrals and follow-up

Connections to qualified community resources, followed by practical support intended to reduce the number of people lost between referral and first appointment.

5

Community partner training

Tools for trusted organizations, faith leaders, educators, and frontline staff to share accurate information and make responsible referrals.

6

Equity-focused outreach

Targeted engagement through local organizations, health fairs, media, and digital channels to reach communities facing persistent access barriers.

Who we serve
